While my primary interest lies in physics, as a hobby I paint. Creativity and creative imagination is very important in both physics and art. It helps us to find connections between seemingly disparate topics, to position our research work in a context to other works, and to envision topics for new directions to explore. Of primary importance in both the fields is that it needs to be supported by a strong foundation of skills. These are necessary to bring the initial speculative concept into concrete reality.
